Located in a dense neighborhood location in Alameda California adjacent to the famous high school attended by basketball great, Jason Kidd, we were asked to review seismic issues with the current basilica and also to recommend different interior developments to simplify and enhance the sacred space of the church. The resultant work was to remove extraneous elements that were no longer part of the liturgical ritual and provide a new Altar Screen as well as furnishings, which were custom designed. Beyond Hey new interior paint palette to transform the interior answer necessary seismic retrofit to create a safe environment within the church, our work terminated the past evolutionary hazard, improvements / progressions to a point of calm and Sacred Radiance.
