Created in a space within the new Villa Angelica , the Chapel design was created together with Faye Spanos together with her son Michael to create a place where she ,her husband Alex and family could come together for prayer and worship. The simplicity of the space was adorned with a carved Cherry Icon Screen (carved in Crete ) as well as a custom designed inlaid byzantine parquet floor- together with niches for icons of the family collection as well as places for new icons The creation some screen element that would be a kin to byzantine alabaster screens that provided a source of light that could be modulated and calibrated to create the mood desired within the space.
